Vickery Named Director of Associate Training for Applied Industrial Technologies

CLEVELAND, July 10-- Linda Vickery has been named Director of Associate Training for Applied Industrial Technologies , according to Richard C. Shaw, Vice President - Communications and Learning. In her new position, Linda manages the development and administration of all learning opportunities for Applied associates, including instructor-led training classes, computer-based training, PC training and product training. She reports to Sam Brown, Director of Organizational Learning for Applied.

"With over 26 years experience in training and instructional design, Linda is well-suited to lead the development of world-class training opportunities for our associates."

Linda joined Applied in 1998 as an instructional designer. She was promoted to Manager of Instructional Design and Training Administration in 1999. Prior to Applied, Linda spent 22 years in numerous training and development positions with Progressive Insurance in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.

Linda attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida and received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She has also attained a Masters of Education in Adult Learning and Development from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. Linda is a member of the American Society for Training and Development and The Greater Cleveland Adult Education Council. She currently resides in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
