TEAM TARGET FACTS---
* Chicagoland Speedway: Spencer captured two outside pole starting
positions in last season's inaugural Busch and Winston Cup events at
Chicagoland. He went on to score two top-20 finishes (5th in Winston Cup;
18th in Busch).
* Chassis: Team Target will have car #206 at Chicago. This is the
same chassis that competed in Charlotte and Michigan this season. Team
Target tested #206 in Kentucky on June 27th and 28th.
* Muppets: Animal from the Muppets will join Spencer in the #40 Target
Dodge this weekend in Chicago. Look for Animal on the Target paint scheme
and in the car riding next to "Mr. Excitement." Animal is the drummer of
the Muppet's own Electric Mayhem band. He is a man of few words, all spoken
at top volume and usually involving food, music, or lovely ladies.
* Team Target is coming off of a fourth place finish in the Pepsi 400
at Daytona. Jimmy Spencer and teammate Sterling Marlin, who finished third,
are now eligible for the Winston No Bull 5 in Richmond on Sept. 7. This
will be Spencer's second appearance in a No Bull 5 race.
