Bill Greene, Ducker Worldwide Launch Minority-Owned Research Firm

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., July 9 -- Bill Greene, a former manager at Ford Motor Company, and Ducker Worldwide, the global leader in market insight and analysis, have announced the formation of W. K. Greene & Associates (WKGA), one of only several minority-owned research firms in the U.S. specializing in consumer behavior. Bill Greene will own 60 percent of the joint venture and Ducker Worldwide will own the remaining 40 percent.

"Businesses that hope to compete in the global marketplace must understand every aspect of their customer's behavior," said Greene. "Our research will help companies learn their constituent's likes, dislikes and motivators, which are vital when developing products and planning marketing campaigns."

WKGA will utilize leading edge technology and innovative research theories to help clients in the automotive, financial services and health care industries better understand their customer base and make appropriate changes to their business plans and marketing initiatives.

The new venture will use I-CATI®, a proprietary computer-aided telephone interviewing system that is completely Web-enabled. Data captured through product clinics, telephone interviews and online surveys will all be fed into I-CATI®, a single information source that will allow WKGA's team of mathematicians and statisticians to easily manipulate and cross-reference the data WKGA collects. Using I-CATI®, a WKGA client is only an Internet connection away from vital data, no matter where they are and no matter what time of day.

"The formation of WKGA represents Ducker's commitment to diversify and grow its business practice," said Scott Ulnick, senior partner at Ducker. "We realize that our clients' needs are always changing and that to provide maximum value for them, we must extend our capabilities through partnerships and strategic alliances."

Greene spent 12 years with Ford Motor Company in various positions ranging from new business development manager in the Automotive Consumer Services Group to market planner in the Global Marketing Department. Most recently he was responsible for running market analyses and making recommendations to the company on where it should build dealerships.
