Iteris Subsidiary Selected for City of Westminster; $1.2M Design/Build Project

    ANAHEIM, Calif.--July 9, 2002--Iteris Inc., a subsidiary of Odetics Inc. , today announced that its subsidiary Meyer, Mohaddes Associates Inc. (MMA) has been selected by the City of Westminster, Calif. as the professional services contractor for the City's Advanced Transportation Systems project.
    The $1.2 million Traffic Congestion Relief project will provide the City with a state-of-the-practice video detection and CCTV traffic monitoring system consisting of more than nine miles of fiber optic communication line, Vantage video detection and Iteris monitoring dome cameras at nine intersections, and a brand new Traffic Management Center (TMC).
    MMA is the prime contractor and is supported by F.J. Johnson, Inc. and Synchronex to assist in construction, as well as providing the video detection and CCTV monitoring system. The MMA Team covers all facets of required professional skills required by this turnkey project.
