Hyundai Sales for June Set Another All-Time Record-Sales Up 15%

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., July 2 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 37,007 vehicles for the month of June. "This is our 17th consecutive month of record-setting sales. And for the second straight month we established a new all-time sales record," said Hyundai's Vice President of Sales Robert Cosmai. "June sales set new all-time records for three of our models; the popular Santa Fe sport utility vehicle, the hot-selling new Tiburon and the Elantra. Hyundai has tremendous momentum in the summer sales period and we expect these strong sales to continue," he added.

"Our customers now perceive Hyundai products as having high quality, great styling and tremendous value. And all of this is backed by America's Best Warranty," Cosmai said.
