FISHER/UNITECH Forms Partnership with EON Reality To Address Increased Demand for Visualization Solutions
TROY, Mich.--July 2, 2002--FISHER/UNITECH, a leading engineering technologies firm serving the Great Lakes region, announced that it has formed a partnership with EON Reality, a leader in visual presentation software based in Irvine, CA. EON Reality's suite of software tools address the sales, marketing, training, support, and visualization market segments for creating and distributing interactive, real-time 3D rich media.
With EON Reality's core product, EON Studio, users can quickly and easily build complex, high quality interactive applications with no programming experience. 3D objects are imported into EON Studio from a number of CAID or CAD programs, behaviors are added to the model and the application can be deployed instantly over the Internet for internal or external customers to interact with. Users can rotate, zoom in/out and pan a 3D object on screen as well as locate key components and see how they work within the overall product. Key applications for this product are online sales of computer hardware and peripherals, office equipment, automobiles, and consumer products.
