9:48 AM – Cars roll onto the front straightaway to stage in preparation for
Round Eight at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
9:49 AM – No. 24 McIntosh will lead the field to the green flag, after
capturing his first career pole with a new lap record, 1:23.63 (97.394 mph).
9:50 AM – The field will be given the green on the back straightaway.
9:51 AM – Starting alongside No. 24 on the front-row will be No. 19 Urlin.
10:02 AM – Cars roll for the one pace lap on the challenging 2.258-mile road
course.
10:04 AM – Lights go off on the pace car as it enters thunder valley.
10:06 AM– GREEN, Working Lap 1, entire field makes through the Esses.
10:06 AM – Working Lap 1, No. 86 Brumbaugh and No. 6 Mcdonough make contact,
but continue and turn eight.
10:07 AM – Working Lap 2, Top-five is No. 9 Kasemets, No. 24, No. 32
Aschenbach, No. 19 and No. 85 Irving.
10:08 AM – Working Lap 3, No. 9 has a half-second lead on No. 24.
10:10 AM – Working Lap 4, Second through fifth place are all nose-to-tail.
10:11 AM – Working Lap 5, First and second place have built a small gap on
third place.
10:12 AM – Working Lap 5, The top-five cars are all running laps in the 1:25
range.
10:12 AM – Working Lap 6, No. 19 is pressuring No. 32 for position.
10:13 AM – Working Lap 6, Top-five remains No. 9, No. 24, No. 32, No. 19 and
No. 85.
10:13 AM – Working Lap 6, No. 3 Sellers passes No. 5 Imery in the Keyhole.
10:14 AM – Working Lap 7, No. 27 Andersen and No. 5 go side-by-side in turn
one.
10:15 AM – Working Lap 7, No. 3 is pressuring No. 85 for position.

Keyhole.

10:24 AM – Working Lap 14, No. 2 is slowing through turn nine.
10:25 AM – Working Lap 15, The leaders have encountered back markers in the
Carousel.
10:26 AM – Working Lap 15, No. 31 Meeks leads the ACC class, 18th place
overall.
10:26 AM – Working Lap 16, No. 3 is all over the back of No. 32 into turn
one.
10:27 AM – Working Lap 16, No. 2 has pulled into the pits and retired.
10:28 AM – Working Lap 17, The top-five remains No. 9, No. 24, No. 32, No. 3
and No. 19.
10:29 AM – Working Lap 17, No. 44 Smith spins and continues in the Carousel.
10:31 AM – Working Lap 18, No. 32 has fallen back to fifth place.
10:31 AM – Working Lap 19, Top-five is now No. 9, No. 24, No. 3, No. 19 and
No. 32.
10:32 AM – Working Lap 19, No. 9 has over a two second lead on No. 24.
10:32 AM – Working Lap 20, No. 3 is closing on No. 24.
10:35 AM – WHITE, Working Lap 21, Top-three is No. 9, No. 24 and No. 3.
10:36 AM – Working Lap 21, No. 3 looks inside of No. 24 at end of back
straight, but can’t pass.
10:36 AM – CHECKERED, No. 9 Kasemets wins Round Eight, with No. 24 McIntosh
and No. 3 Sellers completing the top-three. No. 31 Meeks wins the ACC class.
