NMRA's "Evil Twins" Get Press in Car Craft Magazine!

In the August 2002 issue of Car Craft Magazine, two of the top
draws at the NMRA Ford Nationals Series got some great press
courtesy of the "Heads Up News" section! Chris Beningo's "Evil
Twins" are featured in a 1/2 page spread covering their
"twin wins" at the NMRA Spring Ford Nationals and Silver Dollar
Raceway events. 2x2=4, and that's how many victories the team
has wrapped up so far.

Chris Beningo is the NMRA's 2001 Crew Chief of the Year, and
tuner of Billy Laskowsky's #1 Edelbrock Hot Street Entry, and
current points leading 5.0 Mustang Real Street racer driven
by Gabe Large.

Beningo also plans to compete at the PRO-Edelbrock Hot Rod Nationals
with the Laskowsky #1 NMRA Hot Street car in the Diamond Pistons Pro
Stock class. His first event will be the PRO event at Cordova
Dragway in Cordova, IL over July 27-28, 2002.

We recently caught up with Chris at the 18th Annual NMRA Ford
Motorsport Nationals, "We're just a couple of kids playing with
our hot rods. We have committed to running both PRO and NMRA
because of the exposure they attract in the aftermarket. The
consistency in rules, and good payoffs are important. More
than anything, the people and the fans. That's really why we
run with them. Also, I want to thank Car Craft for the support!"
