Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC) Announces New Leadership
TORRANCE, Calif., June 27 -- Today, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC) announced that Steve Lambert has been named the company's new president.
Lambert will replace Katsumi Ishii, a 15-year employee of Nissan North America, who will return to Japan for a new assignment after a 3-month transition period.
"This move provides an opportunity for us to leverage Steve's prior experience in financial planning, budgeting and analysis as well as his knowledge of dealing with financial aspects of sales and marketing," said Jim Morton, senior vice president, Finance and Administration, Nissan North America, Inc. "We're looking to enhance Nissan's overall effectiveness and further strengthen the partnership between NNA and NMAC in meeting our NISSAN 180 commitments."
Lambert brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to NMAC, having served NNA as the director of finance and the finance manager for business planning, pricing and customer service, among other positions. He joined Nissan in 1992 after leaving the finance group at Hughes Aircraft.
Lambert earned his bachelor's of science in chemical engineering at Brigham Young University (BYU) and his MBA from BYU's graduate school of management.
