puraDYN Expands International and Domestic Distribution Networks; Distribution Network Increases by 45%

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla.--June 27, 2002--puraDYN Filter Technologies Inc. (AMEX:PFT), the global by-pass oil filtration system company, today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Globaltronic Intertrade Co., Ltd., a supplier of industrial, mechanical and electronic products in Thailand. Globaltronic will offer the puraDYN By-Pass Oil Filtration System(R) both from its distribution center and through its website.
Since December 31, 2001, puraDYN's international and domestic distribution network has increased by 45%.
Somchai Bunsermvicha, Managing Director of Globaltronic, said, "We are pleased to become a part of puraDYN's international distribution network. We anticipate strong sales of the by-pass oil filtration systems, concentrating initially on the large industrial potential in Thailand. We estimate the market potential for these products over the next five years between approximately US$ 1.5 million to US$ 2 million. The product line should fit in very well with our existing customers."
puraDYN's President and Chief Operating Officer Kevin G. Kroger commented, "This distribution agreement continues puraDYN's efforts to selectively expand its distribution networks. The combination of puraDYN's proven capabilities coupled with Globaltronic's effective distribution channels is a formula for success in this market. We expect this momentum to continue with additional international and domestic distribution agreements in 2002. In early 2001 we set goals to improve our distribution network in order to better serve our customers. As this recent distributor agreement and our previous agreement for distribution throughout the Middle East demonstrate, we remain focused on continually improving our customer support."
Concurrent with its growth in distribution outlets, puraDYN will increase its revenue through the first six months of 2002 to an estimated $1.25 million (unaudited), an increase of 64% from the same period in 2001. The net loss from operations for the six-month period ending June 30, 2002 is not expected to deteriorate versus last year, but does include significant increased costs for engineering development.
