CHANGES AGAIN IN JULY FOR NASCAR TV COVERAGE......
FROM: LOU'S MOTORSPORTS TV CALENDAR
MID-SEASON NETWORK CHANGES IN MID-JULY FOR NASCAR TV COVERAGE
SHARON, MASS. Here we go again! Just when you got used to watching the
NASCAR action of Fox and FX, the networks and cable channels are going to
change in July. NASCAR in its infinite wisdom made their TV rights change
two years ago with the idea of making it easier for the fans to find their
races every week on TV. But, that hasn't been the case and many fans are
still confused.
Starting in mid-July 2002, the NASCAR races will shift to other networks
and cable channels. There's also a new cable outlet for NASCAR happy hour
and qualifying. Plus, the encore airings of the Winston Cup and Busch Grand
National events will be carried by this cable channel. Also, the CART Champ
Car Series made major changes this year and moved to a new network and
cable channels. In addition, CART's pre and post CART racing shows are
aired on that new cable network. These changes are not going to end and
there are more looming on the horizon as some of the other racing series are
planning on contracts with new networks and cable channels in the future.
Do you know which channel to tune into for your favorite form of racing?
Well, if you subscribed to Lou's Motorsports TV Calendar you would have the
answer to that question. Not only are the NASCAR events covered, Lou's
Motorsports TV Calendar lists all of the sanctions and all of the various
types of racing. And just about every thing else that races and is televised
on the alphabet networks or the vast array of cable channels.
We've been at this for a number of years, 14 to be exact, and at times it's
a big chore for us to keep up with it all. But, that's our mission of this
very dependable and reasonably accurate TV listing that's kept the motorhead
fans up to date every day of the week.
Our mission statement is to make sure our subscribers know which network or
cable channel to tune in on race day. The e-mail version of LMTVC is still
only $12 US and the subscribers also get the late updates immediately after
they are received from the networks and cable channels. All listings are
subject to change! And that's one reason for choosing the e-mail version of
Lou's Motorsports TV Calendar. Don't miss out or get confused about the
changes. Send a check today for $13 US or $16 Canadian for the version
that's mailed via the postal systems. Or just $12 for the e-mail version.
If you choose the e-mail option, be sure to include your e-mail address.
Send your check today to: LMTVC, 27 Bayberry Drive, #2, Sharon, Mass.
