Parts.com Reports First Quarter Income

Profit Results Are Primarily From Settlement Negotiations

SANFORD, Fla., June 25 Parts.com, Inc., a business-to-business and business-to-consumer electronic commerce software and parts procurement provider, today announced its results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2002.

Parts.com Inc. reported a net income of $188,595, or $.04 per share, for the first quarter of 2002, resulting primarily from settlement negotiations of $650,714 as listed in the 10QSB under other income. The comparable first quarter results in 2001 reflect a net loss of ($1,214,199), or ($0.43) per share.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2002, the Company reduced its Selling, General and Administrative Expenses to $414,301 from $1,216,769 for the comparable 1st quarter in 2001.
