TROY, Mich., June 21 In response to inquiries concerning the status of its global generator product line, Delphi spokesperson Steve Gaut released the following statement: "Delphi has been working with Delco Remy International, Inc. (DRI) and our unions toward finalizing the resolution of the generator product line within the next week. At the request of the UAW, Delphi has agreed to a brief extension to finalize issues. As previously stated, Delphi remains committed to a final decision to either sell or wind down its generator product line by the closure of our second quarter accounts."
