PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.--June 19, 2002--Accident Prevention Plus, Inc. (OTCBB:ACPL) is pleased to announce that execution of its business plan is beginning to show results.
The company has begun shipping orders to The Keolis Group. The Keolis Group is a billion dollar French company with over a century of business experience in the passenger transportation sector. The agreement with Keolis has resulted in orders from Cannes, Saint Priest, and the Charles De Gaulle Airport.
The Company has received additional orders for Driving Training Institutes in France; the Company is engaging in a long-term contract with this institute involving the new generation system that will be an Internet ready program. The purpose of this liaison is to allow the institute to distribute the systems to their clients and effectuate the need demanded by their clients.
In addition to these orders the Company has had meetings with Thales Company in Paris. The Thales Company is the manufacturer for Thompson Driving Simulators. The discussions involve installing the APP units in the simulators, which are sold worldwide and are considered by most the "Rolls Royce" of the industry.
We have also just completed our first handicapped drivers performance installation in Belgium. The Recorders are installed in Fiat cars that are handicapped equipped. They will be recording the times of the day, how long traveled, and abilities to control the vehicle as well as many other crucial elements. This is the initial test to issue special drivers licenses with our smartcard technology.
President and CEO, Alan Schwartz, is dedicated to the business plan and thus increasing shareholder value. Mr. Schwartz's conservative philosophy of fiscal discipline has benefited the company while increasing revenues. This philosophy has cut company expenses to a bare minimum. That philosophy has caused the company to discontinue its relationship with DTSI and the proposed joint venture. Taking into consideration that the product, technology and customers belong to Accident Prevention Plus, Inc. and after traveling to Europe, Mr. Schwartz realized that the Company can acquire the same amount of business and revenues that were promised from this merger, with only the cost of T&E.
The Company believes the price of the common stock does not reflect the proper value of the Company. Management is focused on its sales momentum driving the company toward profitability. The company believes that execution of its business plan will continue to demonstrate results.
Accident Prevention Plus, Inc. (ACDT) is a vehicular technology company located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, engaged in the development, production, implementation, marketing and distribution of unique, dynamic and crucial technology for the transportation, safety and logistic solutions industry.
