Testing for the Dodge/Save Mart 350:
"We had a great test at Road Atlanta a few weeks ago. We were faster than the other two teams testing there, and it was my first time on the track. We had a rough time at Sears Point last year, but it was my first time there, too."
Second time around:
"The road course was not my specialty last year. The race last year was more of a practice session for me. With the amount of practice you get, the race was the longest amount of time that I was on the track. I learned a lot, and I know enough about the track to go back and be competitive with the No. 7 Sirius Dodge."
What's the key to success at a road course:
"I think it's mostly experience. You always get the road course specialists who come in every year and do well. You don't often see rookies come in and do well. You gotta have good brakes - that's probably the most important part of the car - but your experience is really the key to doing well here."
