Downtown Elmira Hosts Sports Car PrixView Party

What:	Elmira Downtown Development, Chemung County Chamber of Commerce and Watkins Glen International will host the first-ever PrixView Party. The event will feature race cars and drivers, as well as team transporters and track pace cars. Elmira's famed Wisner Market will also be moved to Wednesday for one special week to allow PrixView Party visitors to sample the food and other specialties featured on Summer Thursdays. 

When:	Wednesday, June 19th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Where:	Downtown Elmira, around Wisner Park

Who:	Teams from the Rolex Sports Car Series and Grand-Am Cup Street Stock Series, as well as Ferrari Challenge, will have their race cars and car transporters on display to the public. The teams participating include:

·	Dyson Racing - #16 & #20 Ford-powered Riley & Scott from the Rolex Series SportsRacing Prototype class
·	Ferrari of Long Island - Ferrari 360 from Ferrari Challenge 
·	G&W Motorsports - #07 BMW-powered Picchio from the Rolex Series SportsRacing Prototype II class
·	Miracle Motorsports - #6 Ford-powered Riley & Scott from the Rolex Series SportsRacing Prototype class
·	Morgan Dollar Motorsports - #46 & #47 Corvette from the Rolex Series American GT class
·	Park Place Racing - #5 Saleen S7R from the Rolex Series GTS class
·	Rand Racing - #7 & #8 Nissan-powered Lola from the Rolex Series SportsRacing Prototype II class
·	Shreiner Racing - #30 Mustang Cobra R from the Grand-Am Cup Grand Sport II class
·	Villaconn International - #34, #36 & #38 BMW Z3 from the Grand-Am Cup Sport Touring I class

Why:	To kickoff the Sports Car Grand Prix weekend at Watkins Glen International and give fans an up-close look at the actual race cars competing in the races.
