MK Diamond Successfully Implements Logistics PRO TMS; Tool Maker Turns to Q4 Logistics; Cuts Shipping Costs

SANTA ANA, Calif.--June 18, 2002--Q4 Logistics, an implementer of supply chain solutions, today announced that MK Diamond Products, a world leader in the manufacturing of quality tools for cutting ceramic, masonry, stone, concrete, and asphalt materials, has successfully implemented Manhattan Associates' Logistics PRO TMS.
"The rate shopping capability Logistics PRO gave us is a very powerful negotiating tool. By allowing us to compare net rates instantly we were able to maximize our discounts and gain tremendous savings on our shipping costs," says John Yenny, operations manager at MK Diamond Products.
Yenny gives considerable credit to Q4 Logistics for its implementation of the system. "Out of all of the implementations we've done during the past decade, this was the most effective," says Yenny. "Q4 Logistics handled the project as if they were part of the company; Q4 was on top of every aspect of the project. They managed the implementation flawlessly and their follow through was outstanding."
Based on the initial success of the system, Q4 Logistics is scheduled to implement Logistics PRO TMS in MK Diamond's packaging department in the near future.
