IRWINDALE SCHEDULE REALIGNMENT NOTES

Irwindale, Calif. (June 14, 2002) - - The Speedway today announced the adjustments which have been made to the 2002 oval track racing schedule to accommodate the postponement of Saturday, June 15's event.  

THE TRACK WILL BE DARK ON JUNE 15 ONLY AND WILL RESUME WITH ITS REGULAR SCHEDULE OF RACING ON SATURDAY, JUNE 22.

·	The regularly-scheduled Friday Night Open Practice session will be held on June 21.

·	The June 15 Jani-King Super Late Model “Twin 50” races will now be held on June 29 and August 17 (making both of those events “Twin 50's”).

·	The June 15 Demolition Derby moves to June 29.

·	The June 15 Figure 8 Race moves to August 17.

·	The June 15 Vista Paints Super Stock makeup date is still TBA, as is the June 29 Modified 4's race.

·	The Auto Club Late Model 100-lap event originally scheduled for October 19 will be moved to the October 12  show.

·	The October 12 Grand American Modified “Open” event will be moved to October 19.
