ADVISORY/Councilmember Hahn and Port of Los Angeles Officials Kick Off Cleaner-Burning Diesel Fuel at Port

WHAT:   A press conference at the Port of Los Angeles to launch
        Proformix(TM) fuel, a lower-emission diesel fuel. The new
        cleaner-burning fuel for direct-injection diesel engines
        reduces particulate matter (PM) by as much as 63 percent and
        nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by 14 percent, according to
        test results verified by the California Air Resources Board.
