I.D. Systems Receives New Order from Ford Motor Company
HACKENSACK, N.J.--June 13, 2002--I.D. Systems, Inc. today announced that Ford Motor Company's Van Dyke plant in Sterling Heights, Michigan, will equip its materials handling fleet with I.D. Systems' wireless Industrial Vehicle Electronic Control System (IVECS).Van Dyke is the second Ford plant to order IVECS under a corporate blanket purchase order the auto maker issued to I.D. Systems in December 2001. The blanket order covers more than 40 Ford manufacturing locations in North America.
