Apogee Enterprises to Host Annual Meeting Webcast, First Quarter Conference Call/Webcast

    MINNEAPOLIS--June 12, 2002--Apogee Enterprises, Inc. today announced that Russell Huffer, chairman, president and chief executive officer, will host the Annual Meeting of Shareholders of Apogee Enterprises, Inc. on Tuesday, June 18 at 10 a.m. Central Daylight Time (11 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time). The meeting will be held at the Lutheran Brotherhood Building Auditorium, 625 Fourth Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota. In addition, the approximately hour-long meeting will be webcast live over the Apogee Web site.
