New Range Rover to Debut at Legion of Honor Museum

SAN FRANCISCO, June 5 -- As part of a nationwide tour promoting the newly redesigned Range Rover, Land Rover North America will pay a special visit to San Francisco's Legion of Honor Museum. The tour is designed as an exclusive preview for existing and potential Land Rover customers to experience the luxury and sophistication of the new 2003 Range Rover.

The 2003 Range Rover is only the third all-new Range Rover in 31 years, and with a remarkably attractive price of $69,995, including free scheduled maintenance for 4 years/50000 miles, it is set to enhance Land Rover's reputation as a maker of premium vehicles.

"Bringing the Range Rover to San Francisco, specifically to the Legion of Honor Museum is a privilege for Land Rover," said Jon Williams, Land Rover vice president of Marketing. "The museum has a spectacular collection of art that represents strength and innovation, and the new Range Rover stands proudly with this display."

The all-new Range Rover is now available with what has been called the most beautiful interior of any car or truck and an evolved exterior that embraces many of the iconic design features that have so endeared Range Rover to its North American customers.

Innovative design technology is expected of every Land Rover and the new Range Rover doesn't disappoint. Independent front and rear suspension, and a variety of electronic control systems are among the features that move the 2003 Range Rover into a class of one.

Built to commemorate Californian soldiers who died in World War I, the Legion of Honor is located in San Francisco's Lincoln Park, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Golden Gate Bridge, and all of San Francisco.

The Range Rover Drive Experience event will take place Monday, June 10, 2002 from 6 - 10 p.m. and include tours of the galleries, a hors d'oeuvres reception, and opportunities to drive the newly designed 2003 Range Rover. Range Rover is now available as of June 1st at local Land Rover dealers.
