Nissan's Canada Luxury Div. Reports Best Sales Ever

MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 3 /CNW/ - Infiniti, Nissan Canada's luxury division, reported record sales for the month of May. Infiniti sales totaled 739 units -- making this not only the best May on record -- but the best sales month for Infiniti in Canada ever. Contributing to this, is the success of the newly launched all-new 2003 Infiniti G35 sport sedan. Since G35 was introduced in showrooms across Canada in March of this year, Infiniti has reported record monthly sales (406 G35 units were sold in May).

Nissan Canada also celebrates record monthly sales -- with 5,849 units (cars and trucks combined) sold for the month of May -- making this the best May on record.

Altima, Nissan's award winning family sedan (voted "Car of The Year" by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada), reported record breaking sales for the month of May with 1,599 units sold (a 135% increase vs. May 2001). This May also marks the eighth consecutive month that Altima has had record monthly sales.
