Japan May minivehicle sales up 3.9 pct

TOKYO, June 3 Reuters reported that Japanese sales of minivehicles in May rose 3.9 percent from a year earlier to 136,456 units, the Japan Mini Vehicle Association said on Monday. It said May was the second straight month of year-on-year gains in sales of the vehicles, which are equipped with 660cc engines.
