URLIN'S ZETEC HOT STREAK CONTINUES

London, Ont., Can. (June 01, 2002) -JW Urlin finished second Saturday in a
the Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship race at the Milwaukee Mile in West
Allis, Wis. The 19 year-old from London, Ont., Can., started third and led
more than half of the 40-lap race before being passed by the eventual
winner, Lawson Aschenbach.

The race began with Urlin, Aschenbach and Tonis Kasemets charging
three-abreast into the first turn. Urlin was second at the end of the first
lap, but swept in to the lead the following time around. Despite struggling
with oversteer, he built up a substantial lead, but soon Aschenbach was
coming back and took away the lead on lap 22.

"Lawson [Aschenbach] was just too fast today," said Urlin. "It was his race
to win. We had understeer this morning in the warm up and we over corrected
this afternoon and got too much oversteer. The car was a bit of a handful
and I actually clipped the wall once."

The recent hot streak, which began with a fourth-place finish at Mosport and
was followed by a second-place at Indianapolis and a third-place on Friday,
has seen Urlin leap from 11th to third in the series point standings. He
credits the success to hard work by his team which is comprised of engineer,
Dan Campbell, and mechanic, Russ Urlin (JW's father).

"Dan, my dad and I have all worked so hard to achieve this success," said
Urlin. "The results may have come kind of suddenly, but they came because we
worked hard trying different things and building a database. Now we're
refining what we know to get the absolute most out of the car."

Urlin will be gunning for the top step of the podium when the Zetec
Championship makes its next stop at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on June
29.
