Concentrax Sets Customer-Focused Pilot Program to Maximize Vehicle Tracking System's Potential for Various Users

HOUSTON, May 30 Concentrax, Inc.today announced that it is seeking participants for a new pilot program aimed at maximizing the potential of its satellite vehicle tracking system to corporate, government, and commercial users.

Under the program, Concentrax will provide its signature Track-Down system in limited quantities and at no cost to about 20 potential consumers in the markets the company serves. During the month-long trial, Concentrax will test the product's adaptability to the specific needs of users in several industries and determine how Track-Down can be better customized. Concentrax believes that in addition to providing important market research, the pilot program will bring in new business for the company.

Mark Gifford, president and CEO of Concentrax, said one of the drivers behind the decision to start the trials now was the intended merger and excellent, ongoing working relationship with Pangea Design, a Houston-based technology firm whose capabilities include software development and programming.

"Track-Down has always been a flexible product that could be used in multiple markets," Gifford said. "And while we could adapt it, the process took time and was not especially cost-effective.

"But with Pangea, we now have in-house programming capabilities that enable us to customize Track-Down faster and more efficiently. By taking this step at this time, we can get fast, valuable feedback that not only ensures we stay ahead of the curve being set by our customers, but also that we continue to offer the best, most responsive product possible."

Gifford said Concentrax is seeking participants in the following sectors: vehicle rental, service, and sales; commercial fleet; emergency (police, ambulance, and other first-response vehicles); government fleet; and automobile and equipment dealers.

Track-Down uses the advanced Global Positioning System to provide accurate, reliable, real-time data on asset use and location that customers can access from their desktop using a secure Internet connection. Its easy installation and small size make it the most convenient tracking technology available, with applications for a broad range of corporate, government, and individual users.
