REMINDER/Suzuki Becomes a ``Made-in-America'' Manufacturer with Opening of $30 Million Atlanta-Area Plant May 31; Georgia Gov. Roy Barnes Will Dedicate 35-Acre Facility

WHAT:      Suzuki Motor Corp. of Japan (SMC) becomes a 
           "made-in-America" manufacturer with the May 31 opening of a 
           $30 million, 35-acre manufacturing plant in Rome, Ga., 60 
           miles northwest of Atlanta.

           Distinctives about the 108,350-square-foot facility:
                  
           --  Suzuki's first U.S. manufacturing plant.

           --  Will produce Suzuki ATVs for dealers/customers 
               in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and 
               New Zealand.

           --  Will provide up to 150 jobs at full capacity.

           --  Will purchase 50 percent of production parts from local
               suppliers.
