Longo to Present a 2002 Camry to Hole-in-One Winner
EL MONTE, Calif.--May 29, 2002--Longo Toyota Vice President/General Manager Tom Rudnai will present the keys to a brand-new 2002 Camry sedan to hole-in-one winner Andrew Dang. The presentation is scheduled for Friday, May 31, at 11:30 a.m. in the dealership's new car showroom.Andrew Dang, a prominent dentist and Monterey Park resident, aced the 5th hole at the California Country Club in Whittier at the 13th Annual Chinese New Year Golf Tournament held March 29, 2002. Presented by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles, the annual golf tournament fundraiser featured a full program including a dinner and awards ceremony with door prizes and a raffle drawing. Longo Toyota sponsored the hole-in-one prize in support of the Chamber and its community programs and activities.
This is the first time in the Chamber's 13-year history of organizing the tournament that a player has aced a hole. Established in 1955, the Chamber works to promote and encourage the development of the Chinese-American business community throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
Dang is a local Monterey Park resident who has practiced general dentistry for 13 years. An avid golfer with a 10-handicap, this is Dang's first ever hole-in-one. This is the second year that Dang has participated in this tournament.
