Mitsubishi Selects Stellent to Power Its Reseller Portal Site
NIEUWEGEIN, The Netherlands--May 29, 2002--Stellent(TM), Inc. , a global provider of enterprise content management solutions, announced today Mitsubishi Motor Sales Nederland (MMSN), a division of the Mitsubishi Motors Corp., selected the Stellent(TM) Content Management system to power its reseller portal site.
Stellent Content Management will enable MMSN to disseminate all relevant sales and product information to more than 90 resellers in the Dutch market. Financial administrators, sales and service employees, and management will visit the portal daily to receive updated company information and personalized financial, technical and sales reports based on their account profiles.
"The Stellent Content Management system allows MMSN to more actively communicate with our reseller partners," said R. Nelemans, IT manager for MMSN. "Stellent has demonstrated its flexibility to manage all of our relevant content types, from Office documents to AS400 reports, via a flexible Web infrastructure. We are confident Stellent will continue to be a major player in the content management market and therefore an excellent long-term partner."
With Stellent Content Management, users will submit content in its native format, such as a word processing document, spreadsheet or graphic file, and the content will be automatically converted to common Web formats, such as HTML, XML, PDF and WML. Advanced templates will allow MMSN employees to contribute content under a particular template, so they will be able to maintain control over the look and feel of the content on the various sections of the reseller portal site.
"In order for global organizations to form tight, successful connections with business partners, they must frequently interact with them to keep them up to date on relevant company information," said Bryan Richter, vice president of Europe, Middle Eastern and African operations for Stellent. "MMSN's implementation demonstrates how Stellent Content Management can help companies develop efficient partner communication channels that ultimately lead to stronger, more fruitful relationships."
