Buffalo Nickel Picks Up Southern Pole Award!

 

            Fayetteville, GA (May 22, 2002) - Buffalo Nickel Buffalo Burgers, which will be featured as a specialty item on the new Hooters Restaurants 'baseball' menu, announced today it will sponsor the USAR Hooters ProCup Series Southern Division Pole Award for the remainder of the 2002 season.  

            You can begin to order the Buffalo Nickel Buffalo Burgers at Hooters beginning Saturday, June 1.  

"We are thrilled to have the North American Bison Cooperative and their Buffalo Nickel Brand Buffalo Burgers on board as a new sponsor of the Hooters ProCup Series," said Bruce Baker, Sponsorship Director for the USAR Hooters ProCup Series.

"It makes a great addition to our series and a great addition to the Hooters menu," added Baker. 

Buffalo Nickel will also include a $2,500 year end award for the most pole awards collected in the southern division for the 2002 season.  Currently, Jason Sarvis, driver of the #22 Naturally Fresh Foods Chevrolet, leads the field with two pole positions, early on in the 2002 season. 

The next race for the southern division will be at the ¾-mile USA International Speedway located in Lakeland, FL, for the running of the Jackaroo Sauces 250 presented by Discount Auto Parts on Saturday, June 1.
