SHANE LEWIS WRITES REVIEW FOR SERIES’ WEB SITE

JUPITER, Fla., Thursday, May 23, 2002 —Shane Lewis will have a review of his
Sears Point Raceway weekend published on the official web site of the
International Motor Sports Association (IMSA), www.imsaracing.net on Friday,
May 24. The review, written by Lewis personally, is an inside look at the
weekend of the GTS-class driver. It describes a difficult race weekend as
only a driver could explain it.


“I am very proud to have this opportunity to write for IMSARacing.net,”
offered the Jupiter, Florida resident. “I think it’ll give folks a little
better idea of what it is like on a race weekend for the driver. I just hope
people remember that I drive better than I write.”


This is the first installment of a race-by-race review to be written by
Lewis throughout the remainder of the 2002 American Le Mans Series season.
The next chapter will follow the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Complex round on June
28-30.


Shane Lewis has been racing since 1989. He is the 1998 Professional Sports
Car Rising Star award winner and has multiple race wins in the IMSA Supercar
and SCCA Pro series. Lewis has ALMS podium finishes at Silverstone,
Nurburgring and last season at Portland. This former Daytona Endurance
Champion has driven in 16 24-hour races including two 24 Hours of Le Mans
and six 24 Hours of Daytona and six 12 Hours of Sebring.
