J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. Named Dry Van Grocery Carrier of the Year by Wal-Mart
LOWELL, Ark.--May 23, 2002--J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc., has been awarded Wal-Mart Stores Inc.'s 2001 Dry Van Grocery Carrier of the Year. J.B. Hunt received the honor at the retailer's annual core carrier conference May 7 in Bentonville, Ark.The award was given to J.B. Hunt for outstanding performance in several areas including on-time service, ease of doing business, and the company's reliable capacity as measured through its load accept/reject percentage and surge capacity. Other criteria considered in the award were percentage of growth with Wal-Mart year-over-year and total revenue with the Wal-Mart transportation business.
