Pre-Race 1 Notes at Mosport

- No. 46 Schiavo has repaired the car, after crashing during qualifying for
race 2. The team replaced the entire right side suspension and welded
repairs to the tube-frame chassis.
- No. 86 Brumbaugh car has been repaired following a crash in turn nine in
qualkifying for race 2.
- No. 11 Rubenzer wiil switch to the No. 13 car after an engine failure in
testing on Thursday. No. 13 will start at the pack of the field for
switching cars.
- No. 7 Massari continues to battle electrical problems.
- No. 86, who is from Blythwood, S.C., will have the Carolina Hurricanes
logo on the car and No. 34 Wilkins, who is from Toronto, Ont., Can., will
have the Toronto Maple Leafs logo on the car. The logos are in recognition
of the National Hockey League Eastern Conference Finals seies between
Carolina and Toronto. The winner of the best of seven series advances to the
Stanley Cup Finals.
