Dearborn Car Maker Will Open Plant In Russia

MOSCOW -A Dearborn car maker plans to open its new factory at Vsevolozhsk in the Leningrad region of Russia July 9 , the news agency Interfax reported Saturday.

Interfax said that July will also see the start of sales of Ford Focus cars built at the plant, which is expected to produce 4,000 cars this year. Production had originally been intended to start in January.
