The AutoSport Radio Show Tuesday, May 21st, 2002

The Team Simpson Autosport 2002 Show brought to you by Budweiser will feature guests in the starting field for this years 500 and former winners of the Hoosier 100. 
The show will be broadcast live from McGilvery's Speedway at 30th and High School Road from 7-8 pm. The show is broadcast live in Indianapolis on WKLU 101.9 FM. 
Scheduled guests include... 

Robbie Buhl... driver and co-owner of the Dreyer & Reinbold Team Purex #24 G-Force/Infiniti/Firestone starting in the middle of the front row. 

Richie Hearn... driving the Sam Schmidt Motorsports #20T  Dallara/Chevrolet/Firestone qualified in the 22nd starting position. 

Chris Economaki... Editor and Publisher Emeritus of National Speedsport News. Chris's column is the most read column in all of motorsports. 

From the Hoosier 100... 

Al Unser... not only a 4 time Indy 500 winner Al has won the Hoosier 100 4 times. 

Jackie Howerton... the only lose Al suffered while driving the Vel's Parnelli Champ Car was at the Hoosier 100 in what has been called one of the greatest races at  the State Fairgrounds. 

The final 30 minutes will not be televised on the Autosport 2002 television show aired Thursday at 5:30 pm in Indianapolis on WDNI I65 TV. Seen over the air channel 65, Time/Warner Cable channel 20, and Comcast Cable channel 99. 
It will, however, air in its entirety on WKLU 101.9 FM and on the internet at www.autosportradio.com.


The Team Purex Show Car will be at McGilvery's Speedway for you to take a close look. Bring a camera so you can get your picture with the car. 

On Carb Day Thursday May 23rd the 11th annual NAMARS 500 will be run at the Indianapolis Speedrome. 
Qualifying will be Wednesday, May 22nd, beginning at 2:00 pm for 4 hours. 
The green flag will drop to start the race on Thursday the 23rd at 7:00 pm to start 500 laps of Midget Car racing. Don't miss this.
