Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship Pre-Qualifying Notes from Mosport

Pre-Qualifying Notes at Mosport

- No. 9 Tonis Kasemets is unable to attend the doubleheader, after his
wallet was stolen earlier in the year, which contained his U.S.A Green Card.
- No. 14 Jon Groom is running a brand new car this weekend. Groom received
the car on Wednesday at the track.
- During pre-event testing No. 2 Jeffrey Jones crashed hard in turn 3,
damaging the front of the car, but returned later in the day.
- No. 11 Scott Rubenzer suffered and engine failure in pre-event testing on
Thursday and is unlikely to run this weekend.
-In the morning practice session, No. 85 Travis Irving was black flagged
early in the session for a blend line violation.
- Late in practice sesion No. 24 Sean McIntosh spun and stalled the car.
Corner workers prevented him from restarting the car, thus ending his
session.
- No. 31 Kip Meeks broke a rod-end in the right rear A-arm in practice. The
team will attempt to repair the car for the qualifying sessions in the
afternoon.
