Hollywood/Mo Nunn Racing teammates Tony Kanaan and Felipe Giaffone clocked
the third- and fourth-fastest practice times of the day in preparation for
the 86th Indianapolis 500, and they were the fastest two drivers among those
who have already qualified for the May 26 event.

Kanaan, driving the #21T Hollywood/Mo Nunn Racing Chevrolet G-Force back-up
car, reached 227.660 mph today around the 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor
Speedway oval.  His primary #17 Hollywood/Mo Nunn Racing Chevrolet spent the
day at team headquarters undergoing race-day preparations.  Kanaan, who
nailed down the fifth spot on the starting grid during Pole Day
qualifications last Saturday, recorded a total of 69 practice laps today in
the back-up car.

Giaffone, who qualified fourth for the Indy 500 last Saturday, put in 73
practice laps today and reached a fast lap of 227.353 mph.  His primary car
is expected to go to the team race shop for race-day preparations beginning
Thursday.

Both Hollywood/Mo Nunn Racing entries, who focused exclusively on long fuel
and tire runs today, carry associate sponsorship from WorldCom.

Two drivers who have yet to qualify for the race, teammates Airton Dare and
Greg Ray, had to two fastest laps today - Dare at 228.628 mph and Ray at
227.909 mph.

Practice resumes Thursday with Bump Day of final qualifying set for Sunday.
Twenty-four cars are qualified so far for the traditional 33-car field.
