Toyota Targets Record Profit
TOKYO, May 13 Reuters reports that Toyota Motor Corp said on today it hoped for record group earnings in the business year to next March.
Executive Vice President Ryuji Araki made the comment after the company reported a record profit last business year, fuelled by a weak yen and robust U.S. sales, particularly at its Lexus luxury vehicle division.
"While we don't give earnings forecasts, we will make efforts to achieve better group earnings this fiscal year than last," Araki told a briefing.
