'98 Toyota Avalon@24.197.255.172 on Sun 2002-05-05 20:30:19 EDT My auto head light turner on'r (the technical name) turns the headlights on when it is too dark. I would like to adjust it so the lights come on sooner. Any idea where the adjustment would be for this??
'91 Pont. GP@24.197.255.172 on Sun 2002-05-05 20:24:55 EDT My '91 GP has a miss or hick-up when I am cruising down the highway and just come to the bottom of a hill. It runs fine at all other times but when the engine just starts to lug down to go up the hill the car misses. Very brief and only a few times (5-10 seconds apart). At first I thought it was the transmission trying to downshift out of OD but I don't think that is it. I think it is fuel or elec. related. It just cuts out very fast and very short. Once the car downshifts it seems to run fine-no misses. When I crest the hill it shifts back into overdrive and is fine until the next hill. (this is with the cruise on) Any ideas??
good.wrench@209.122.226.135 on Sat 2002-05-04 08:45:06 EDT chopliver this sounds like a window motor overheating from too much friction due to dry track guides and rollers,remove the door panel and get up in the mechanisms with white lithium spray grease and lubricate every window guide and track then try operating the window,if trouble prsists it means the window motor is going bad,if your not experienced changing motors i suggest you have it done in the shop.
chopliver@66.82.102.106 on Sat 2002-05-04 08:16:12 EDT Hey, anybody out there know anything about fixing windows? We have a GMC Safari. The drivers side has an automatic window. Recently it hasn't been working right. It will down a little bit and stop. To get it to go back up you have to turn the engine off and wait and go back and turn it on a couple of times. We tried a new switch but that didn't do the trick. Thanks for your time.

When I am not pushing the gas and in drive or when I am sitting at a stop light in drive, I get a buzzing sound out of the dash. The battery light flickers in motion with the buzzing. If I switch into neutral, it slowly stops. Any ideas?
