Cooper Tires Denies Destroyed Docs Have Anything to do With Arkansas Case

In a press conference that was just concluded, Cooper Tire execs reiterated their claim that the destroyed documents had nothing to do with the present case and in fact, and may have even been destroyed before the accident. The company said that it dosen't know who ordered the documents to be destroyed, and that two employees took two boxes of records, that "might have been five or six years old" to one of the employees homes and burned them in the backyard.
