Josten's Names New Penn Northeast Regional LTL Carrier of the Year
LEBANON, Pa.--May 9, 2002--New Penn Motor Express, Inc., a subsidiary of Roadway Corporation , was recently named the 2001 Northeast Regional LTL Carrier of the Year by Josten's, Inc.Josten's Materials and Shipping Managers at each of their 16 plants in the U.S. and Canada formally evaluate their carriers twice each year. Carriers were evaluated in the categories of Cargo Claims and Transit Time reliability.
In addition, each local facility rated carriers for On-time Pick up and Delivery, Driver Courtesy and Helpfulness, Equipment, Dispatch Quality, Customer Service Courtesy and Helpfulness and the professionalism of the local representative. Josten's evaluated 19 carriers nationwide and New Penn was one of only two regional LTL carriers to be recognized.
