Tenneco Automotive to Webcast Annual Meeting

    LAKE FOREST, Ill.--May 8, 2002--Tenneco Automotive , a global supplier of automotive parts, will hold its annual meeting of stockholders on Tuesday, May 14, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. CDT at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. Shareholders of record as of the close of business on March 22, 2002, will be entitled to vote at the meeting or by proxy.
    Interested parties, unable to attend in person, may listen to the annual meeting, which will be webcast via the Internet. The webcast of the meeting will be on a listen-only basis and voting will not be available electronically through the webcast. To access the webcast, go to the financial page of the company's website at www.tenneco-automotive.com at least 15 minutes prior to the event to register and download any necessary software.
