The Telematics Industry's First Business Directory will Launch At Telematics 2002 Conference, Detroit May 15-16
DETROIT, May 8 -- The first directory of telematics companies has been compiled by industry magazine Telematics Update.
The directory is available to buy at the biggest automotive wireless strategy event in the world, Telematics 2002. It features the 250 key telematics companies worldwide, and the list is growing all the time as the industry grows. Users can cross-reference their search for partners or suppliers by several business classifications and by location. Vincent Lau, Telematics Update Directory sales manager, explains the directory is available online as a database tool and in printed format. Subscribers will receive monthly updates.
The directory is to be launched by Telematics Update Magazine at the start of the annual Telematics conference in Detroit May 15-16, alongside the Auto Interiors Expo in the Cobo Center. Over 450 senior executives from the automotive and wireless industries are already registered to attend. The program of speakers constitutes the most expert forum of decision makers and analysts gathered anywhere to discuss the future of the telematics business. The full program is available at http://www.telematicsupdate.com/telematics2002
General Motors, OnStar, DaimlerChrysler, Ford, Wingcast, Nissan, DENSO, Johnson Controls, Robert Bosch, Motorola, BMW, Renault, Fiat, Hyundai, Delphi, Sprint and many others make up the roll-call of companies offering their top-level strategies and expert advice on the value proposition of telematics for corporations, investors and customers in the year ahead.
The event also features 6 interactive workshops all running alongside the conference. They cover the value chain, business strategies, new technologies, real time navigation opportunities, speech recognition and computing platform standards. Workshop sponsors include Accenture, IBM, Telcontar, Phone-Or, Telematics Research Group and AMI-C.
Now in its second year, Telematics 2002 is the biggest telematics conference in the world. Space in the auditorium is limited and last year's event sold out in advance: prospective attendees are advised to register right away to avoid disappointment, on http://www.telematicsupdate.com.
