SFO CleanAir Vehicle Expo to Promote Natural Gas and Electric Vehicles

SAN FRANCISCO, May 7 -- As a premier sponsor of the SFO CleanAir Vehicle Expo, Ford Motor Company is showcasing its Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) division and TH!NK Mobility, LLC, the brand that exclusively markets and sells battery electric vehicles. The sponsorship is representative of Ford's leading edge technology in the realm of natural gas and electric vehicles. The event is being held on the rooftop of SFO's new International Parking Garage G, and is free to attend, offering complimentary parking, breakfast and lunch.

The CleanAir event will exhibit both gaseous and electric alternative fuel vehicles, providing information to fleet owners on how to fund and build an alternative fuel vehicle fleet.

As part of its continuing effort to raise awareness on the need to preserve air quality in California, Ford Motor Company is sponsoring the event by bringing together its two leading brands that clearly support automotive innovation for reduced emissions. These brands, Ford AFV and TH!NK Mobility will display and host a Ride and Drive of their alternative fuel product offerings.

Following the sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in Alternative Fuel Vehicle Ride and Drives.
