MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND SPECTACULAR SHOWS HIGHLIGHT LEBANON VALLEY SPRING SEASON

WEST LEBANON, NY - One of the most anticipated weekend shows of the Northeast 
takes place on Memorial Day Weekend when two exciting shows will light up the 
West Lebanon Skyline.
    On Saturday May 25th, Lebanon Valley will kick off the weekend with an 
exciting card of racing. All of the divisions, which compete weekly at the 
Valley, will be in competition in addition to the 358 modifieds. 
HSBC, G& H Funding, and Wohrles food distributors will sponsor the evening's 
activities and the opening date of 358 modified action on the high banks. 
Several big block modified drivers have 358 modifieds lined up for 
competition.    
Kenny Tremont, Brett Hearn, Rich Ricci, and Andy Bachetti are just a few of 
the drivers which will do double duty on the 25th. To cap off the excitement 
there will be a super school bus race around the ½ mile oval. Last years bus 
race provided with some three and four wide racing and had the fans standing 
on their feet.
    If Saturday's racing doesn't quench race fans thirst for action, on 
Monday May 27th, CARQUEST Auto Parts will proudly present the annual New York 
appearance of the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Sprint Cars. 
Last year track records fell like leaves in the fall and with the new track 
surface on the high banks don't be surprised if it continues on the 27th. 
Last year Donnie Schatz blistered the field enroute to his $10,000 paycheck.  

Danny Lasoski has been the one to beat so far this season on the tour, but 
has trouble with the Kinser's and the rest of the posse whenever they roll 
into Lebanon NY. Big Block modifieds will share the card on Memorial Day for 
the most exciting event of the season.
