DALLAS--May 6, 2002--More than 125 breakout sessions, featuring value chain success stories from a broad range of vertical industries and product categories, are at the heart of i2 PLANET(R) Las Vegas 2002. The event, scheduled for May 13-16 at the Venetian Hotel, features executives from some of the world's most successful and innovative companies who will present and discuss their value chain management challenges, opportunities and successes.

Fifteen winners of the 2001 Ken Sharma Award for Excellence will present, including VF Jeanswear, Mercury Marine and Pohong Iron and Steel. The Ken Sharma Award -- named in honor of i2 co-founder and value chain management visionary, Ken Sharma -- recognizes companies and project teams involved in breakthrough best practices in all major industries worldwide.

The solution track covers specific i2 product areas that span the value chain. These sessions are designed to provide real-world examples of how each of these solutions is implemented, and the value that customers are receiving from them.
