I.D. Systems, Inc. Nominates New Director to Board
HACKENSACK, N.J.--May 6, 2002--I.D. Systems, Inc. , a leading provider of end-to-end wireless asset management solutions, today announced that Michael Monaco has been nominated to stand for election to the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Monaco will fill the seat of N. Bert Loosmore, who is stepping down as a Director of the Company.Mr. Monaco, age 54, served Cendant Corporation as Vice Chairman from 1996 to 2000 and as Chief Executive Officer of the Direct Marketing Division from 1998 to 2000. From 1990 to 1996, Mr. Monaco was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the American Express Company. Mr. Monaco, who also sits on the Board of Washington Group International, Inc., received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Mr. Monaco is also a Certified Public Accountant.

The Annual Meeting of Shareholders of I.D. Systems will be held on Wednesday, June 5th at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time at the Company's headquarters in Hackensack, New Jersey. Among the proposals presented at the Annual Meeting is the election of six directors.
