Porsche Cars North America Reports April U.S. Sales; Second Best Month in History for Porsche 911 Sales in the U.S.
ATLANTA, May 1 -- Porsche Cars North America, Inc., (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars in the United States, today announced U.S. retail sales for April totaled 1980 cars, a 17 percent decrease over the same period last year. However, Porsche 911 sales continue to be strong. April was the second best month in history for 911 sales in the U.S., but it was the best month in history for 911 sales in North America (including sales in Canada).
Porsche 911 sales have set many records in recent months and are up 2 percent calendar year to date in the U.S. PCNA is operating on plan and expects that trend to continue.
