Infiniti Reports Best April in History

GARDENA, Calif., May 1 -- Led by strong G35 sales, Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan North America, Inc., today reported its best April in history with sales of 7,741 units, a 60.8 percent increase versus April of last year.

A key contributor to this record April was the new 2003 G35 sport sedan, which reported sales of 3,286 units. G35 went on sale March 11 and comes standard with a 260-horsepower V6 engine, 5-speed automatic transmission, Vehicle Dynamic Control and an in-dash 6-disc CD changer plus much more.

Infiniti's G20 sedan reported an increase of 16.7 percent versus April of last year with sales of 948 units.

Rounding out Infiniti's lineup, I35 reported sales of 2,040 units, QX4 posted sales of 1,122 units and Q45 reported sales of 345 units.

Nissan North America, Inc.'s combined sales for April, including Nissan and Infiniti divisions, totaled 61,172 units, accounting for a 14.8 percent increase versus April of last year.
