Performance Friction Brakes Complete Initial Test

(Clover, SC) April 29 2002 Performance Friction Corporation recently introduced their new rotor into the market, and the product is quickly establishing itself as a solid performer in current applications. The new rotor features a high temperature alloy that has effectively enhanced the life of the rotor on vehicles using the technology, according to several police and ambulance fleet managers. The unique design of the PFC Rotor TechnologyT is also patent-pending. Its two-piece construction is a major factor in improving the life of the brake, thereby reducing replacement costs.

Designed with performance in mind, the rotors work in tangent with their like-branded PFC Brake Pad TechnologyT. Other features and benefits of the new rotors include computer designed vanes which reduce vibration known as pedal pulsation (or thermal distortion) and patent-pending machining which provides the lowest run out and thickness variation (which in turn reduces brake drag).

Current applications of the PFC Rotor TechnologyT include the Ford Crown Victoria police cruiser, and 1-ton E-Chassis Ford, better known as the "ambulance chassis of choice". PFC is presently researching new applications for the product, which are expected to hit the high-performance market shortly.

With regards to existing pad applications, PFC makes a pad technology for most domestic makes and models, as well as for many imports. Contact your favorite auto parts distributor today or call PFC at 1-800-521-8874 to find out if there's a PFC brand application for your vehicle.
